Michael’s research focuses on the political economy of housing, with a particular focus on the private rental sector. He recently co-authored the Housing Agency report The Impact of Cost Rental Housing. He has published articles on the private rental sector in academic journals including Housing Studies and the International Journal of Housing Policy. Michael also writes the Week in Housing newsletter.
