Genevieve McGuirk is Chief Executive Officer at the Institute of Professional Auctioneers & Valuers (IPAV), representing over 1,500 auctioneers and valuers across Ireland. With more than 18 years’ experience in the property sector, Genevieve began her career in residential sales with Savills, later managing a homecare agency through a strategic merger before joining IPAV in 2015.
At IPAV, she has strengthened the institute’s role in shaping professional standards and education within the property industry. Under her leadership, IPAV’s educational partnerships with TU Dublin have grown significantly, and she has advanced the TEGOVA European Valuation Standard programme, recognised by both the Irish and European Central Banks.
Genevieve is passionate about the property industry and says she is continually inspired by the professionals with whom she works, seeing each collaboration as an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the sector.
